Job Responsibilities

Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Reels Video Editor to join our remote team. In this role, you will transform long-form podcasts and video content into compelling short-form clips designed to capture attention and boost engagement. You will work closely with our editing lead, follow brand guidelines, and deliver a steady volume of polished content on tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit long-form video and podcasts into short clips (6–25 seconds) with strong hooks, pacing, and captions.
• Recreate trending reels, ensuring visual and audio quality, timing, and consistency.
• Collaborate with the editing lead and apply feedback to continuously improve output.
• Deliver at scale: 20–25 podcast clips and 30–40 reels each week.

Success Metrics

• At least 80% first-draft approval rate.
• 95% of assignments delivered on time (within 24–48 hours).
• Clips that consistently meet or exceed engagement benchmarks.

Job Requirements

Requirements

• English and Spanish at a C1 level or above.
• Proven experience editing content for Reels/TikTok/Shorts (portfolio required).
• Proficiency in CapCut, Premiere, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong sense of storytelling and ability to create engaging hooks.
• Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance.
• Team player who can take feedback and collaborate effectively.
