We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Customer Service Representative to join our growing team.
**Job Description:**
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, answering their inquiries about their orders, routing calls appropriately, and liaising with our suppliers to check the status of purchase orders. You will contribute to our commitment to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain our reputation in the security equipment industry.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or live chat.
2. Provide accurate information about orders, products, and services.
3. Route calls and inquiries to the appropriate department as needed.
4. Liaise with suppliers to check the status of purchase orders and provide updates to customers.
5. Maintain a high level of product knowledge to answer customer questions effectively.
6. Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a timely and satisfactory manner.
7. Maintain customer records by updating account information in our databases.
8. Collaborate with the team to achieve overall customer service goals and objectives.
9. Adhere to company policies and procedures, particularly in relation to privacy and security.
**Skills/Qualifications:**
1. High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree is a plus.
2. Proven customer support experience or experience in a similar role.
3. Strong phone handling skills and active listening.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
5. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
6. Comfortable using computers and related software, including CRM systems and databases.
7. Knowledge of the security equipment industry is a plus.
8. Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers at all times.
9. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
