·        You will be central to the implementation of a wide variety of software systems, with a focus on web-based systems.

·        You will apply technologies including React.js, Node.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Python, Amazon AWS and whatever is required to best meet our current objectives.

·        We will guide and support you, providing opportunities to become a better developer and teammate.

·        You must possess a growth mind-set. You must be ready and able to learn from the team and elsewhere to continuously develop yourself and your craft.

·        You must be an organized, action-oriented, self-starter who is able and willing to learn fast and be adaptable and complete projects on-time.

·        You also have to be an effective listener and be able to accurately and communicate with confidence through English.

·        We know that to build a code base that can stand the test of time, accuracy, good documentation and most importantly clear, expressive code is a necessity. You must be able to deliver this.

·        You must be confident with modern workplace tools. We use quite a variety, including Slack, Asana, OneNote, Dropbox, Zoom and of course MS Office. We don’t expect you to have used all of these, but comfort with desktop and cloud tools is essential.

Job Requirements

·        Required technical skills:

·        React.js & Node.js

·        SQL databases (ideally PostgreSQL)

·        HTML, CSS & JavaScript

·        Beneficial technical skills:

·        Amazon Web Services

·        Linux command-line (we use Ubuntu)

·        Python
