Hi!

At First Ascent, we build impactful brands and execute beautiful digital experiences. Our clients work in a wide range of industries and our scopes include strategy, branding, website design and development, content creation, and full-service digital marketing.

We're looking for a detail-oriented full-stack web developer who is eager to learn and strives for high-quality, readable, and maintainable code. On a daily basis, you'll be building new WordPress sites and making updates and improvements to existing websites. This includes building and modifying themes, implementing plugins, performing thorough cross-browser and UX testing, and coordinating with our team throughout projects. You must be an exceptional communicator, highly organized, and eager to learn about and implement new and ever-changing technologies. We build using WordPress core, we don’t rely on themebuilders like Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery and neither should you. Using the Gutenberg block editor, you'll be responsible for creating user-friendly interfaces for managing content with existing core blocks, as well as developing entirely new custom blocks to suit the needs of the task at hand.
