Graphic Designer

Full Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Part-Time Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in graphic design and will play a crucial role in supporting our team by creating visually compelling microsites for our clients using Google Sites and Canva. Additionally, the designer will be responsible for developing multiple PowerPoint templates in line with our design guidelines and may assist with various design-related tasks for marketing and client-facing documents.

Qualifications::

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in graphic design.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Canva, Google Sites, Google Slides and Figma.
• Fluent in the English language (written and verbal competency)  
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating microsites, PowerPoint templates, and other design projects.
• Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
• Ability to adhere to brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all design materials.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and web design principles is advantageous.
• Familiarity with digital marketing and social media design and/or strategy.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop microsites using Google Sites and Canva that align with client requirements and brand standards.
• Create multiple PowerPoint templates following our established design guidelines to ensure consistency and high-quality visual presentation.
• Collaborate with the team to understand project objectives and deliver designs that meet client expectations.
• Assist with other design-related tasks, including but not limited to, marketing materials, social media graphics, and client-facing documents.
• Ensure all designs are visually appealing, user-friendly, and on-brand.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.

Job Requirements

This is a fully remote, part time, contract position, working in North American time zones. 

Commitment: Appx 10-15hrs of work expected per week (between hours of 9am-5pm PST or EST)
