Full Job Description

We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and hardworking individual who is interested in gaining experience in medical insurance, billing and collections. The candidate must enjoy helping others, as this is the main focus of our business. 


Job Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities will include:

·      Insurance verifications; working knowledge of PPO, HMO, Medicare, and Workers compensation

·      Contacting Insurance companies to obtain eligibility and authorization requests

·      Data entry

·      Communicating with other members of the team regarding patients benefits and accounts

·      Handling various other administrative tasks

·      This position requires someone who can work autonomously, but who also can work well and communicate effectively with a team


Job Requirements

·      Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·      A great eye for detail

·      Basic Mathematical skills

·      Ability to learn quickly and apply that knowledge

·      Ability to stay focused on tasks without getting distracted

·      Adaptability to change and a fast paced environment

·      The ability to multitask and work well with others on the team

·      Have the ability to think and respond quickly, be persistent, and have good control of conversations over the phone

·      Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
