Full Job Description

We are a women's mental health Series A startup and we are looking for a dynamic HR Generalist. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, outgoing, a self-starter, and an excellent communicator. This role involves healthcare recruiting, onboarding, and providing general HR support to our staff.

This is a full-time role (40 hours). Working hours are from Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm EST.

We want someone to grow with our company and stay with us for years. If you are hopping from one role to another, please do not apply. 

We will pay anywhere between $8-$10 an hour. Your pay will depend on the level of your experience and will grow with your growth.


Job Responsibilities

  • Source, screen, and interview candidates for various healthcare positions.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of potential candidates through proactive outreach and relationship management.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Lead the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into our organization.
  • Conduct orientation sessions and facilitate the completion of necessary paperwork.
  • Provide support to new employees, helping them integrate into our company culture.
  • Assist in various HR functions including employee relations, performance management, and policy implementation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Coordinate training and development initiatives to support employee growth and retention.


Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in healthcare recruiting, onboarding, or HR generalist roles.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences.
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A genuine desire to contribute to the success of our team and the well-being of our employees.


  • Minimum PC/Laptop processor: Intel Core i5 or AMD equivalent.
  • RAM: 8 GB or more.
  • Reliable internet (minimum 5Mbps) with internet backup.
  • Noise-canceling headset with clear microphone.
