Mongoose Media is seeking an experienced Media Buyer to play a pivotal role in our mission to help purpose-driven businesses achieve their vision. This role involves crafting, executing, and optimizing digital marketing strategies across various paid media channels, including Paid Social (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok). The ideal candidate will contribute significantly to both client success and client experience through expert campaign management and exceptional service.

What is the Media Buyer Role

As a Paid Social Media Buyer at Mongoose Media, you play a pivotal role in crafting, executing, and refining digital marketing campaigns across a variety of paid media channels including Paid Social (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok). Your work directly contributes to our core mission: to assist purpose-driven businesses in realizing their goals. Leveraging your expertise in marketing strategies and analytics, you'll be a key player in driving client success, enhancing the client experience, and supporting our vibrant culture of collaboration and continuous learning.


Job Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Campaign Management: Independently manage and optimize direct response marketing campaigns across multiple platforms, aligning with client success goals.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize 'marketing maths' to analyze performance data, derive actionable insights, and inform strategic decisions to boost campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Creative, Data, and the Customer Success Manager to achieve holistic marketing strategies that support client objectives.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay ahead of industry trends and platform updates, continually enhancing your skills and sharing knowledge with your team.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior team members, contributing to the development of the team and the agency's strategic frameworks.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in managing online marketing campaigns across Paid Social and Paid Search platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a minimum monthly budget of $100k.
  • Proficiency in 'marketing maths' and data analysis, with a track record of leveraging insights to drive campaign success.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate strategies and insights clearly to both clients and team members.
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and a commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
