Full Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Podcast Producer/Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing and editing at least 5 podcast episodes per week. This role requires proficiency in both audio and video editing, as well as the ability to create engaging visual content for podcast promotion.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce and edit at least 5 podcast episodes per week, ensuring high-quality audio and video output (you will be provided with the raw footage)
• Edit audio and video recordings to ensure clarity, consistency, and optimal sound quality and color-correction.
• Add intros, outros, music, sound effects, and other elements to enhance the listening and viewing experience.
• Create visually appealing graphics, thumbnails, and promotional materials for podcast episodes.
• Collaborate with hosts, guests, and other team members to ensure content is engaging and meets the brand's standards.
• Monitor and respond to feedback, making necessary adjustments to improve future episodes.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Podcast Producer/Editor or similar role.
• Proficiency in audio editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition, Pro Tools).
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
• Strong understanding of podcast production, including recording, editing, and distribution.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva).
• Knowledge of social media platforms and podcast distribution channels.
• Creative mindset with the ability to bring fresh ideas to each episode.
