The Reduction Specialist plays a crucial role in managing and negotiating outstanding bills and liens with medical providers, ensuring seamless communication between clients, medical providers, and insurance adjusters. This position requires exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Reduction Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, providing clients with clear and timely updates on their case status, and ensuring the successful closure of cases.  

Reductions Specialist Job Description & Responsibilities – including but not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extend a warm and professional welcome to clients visiting the office, ensuring their comfort.
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
  • Return calls for all voicemails (from clients or providers) within the established timeframe.
  • Log phone calls and documents into the online document management system accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicate case status updates to clients and maintain conference room cleanliness after meetings.
  • Negotiate outstanding bills and liens with medical providers effectively.
  • Communicate with hospitals and hospital providers to ensure correct billing protocols are followed.
  • Communicate with insurance adjusters to obtain payment logs, releases, and follow up on checks.
  • Oversee the execution of required documents to close cases, submitting them to the appropriate departments and insurance companies as necessary.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, keeping them informed about the steps and timelines involved in closing their case.
  • Prepare final closing packages for clients meticulously.
  • Schedule appointments and meet with clients to explain closing documents and provide them with their settlement checks.
  • Update case notes and progress on Litify, closing the file accordingly once finalized.
  • Attend training sessions regularly to stay updated on all company processes and procedures
  • Ensure all clinic case reductions are submitted within 48 hours of case receipt.
  • Review all hospital cases within 48 hours, update the damages link with pending items, and send any necessary requests within 48 hours of case receipt.

Client Service:

  • Ensure high standards of client service and satisfaction.
  • Address client concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Contact clients every 14 days.
  • Return client voicemails the same day.

 

Additional Corporate Training:

Employee will be required to attend additional online trainings, which may occasionally be scheduled on weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays. Employees will be given 30-day notice prior to scheduled training to make arrangements to attend the training online. Trainings are paid.

Reductions Specialist Qualifications:

  • No previous legal experience is required, we will provide training.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Must consistently be on time and reliable.
  • Must work well in a team environment.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to successfully communicate with other employees.
  • Must have their own Computer (Desktop or Laptop) MAC or Windows (If Windows must be at least with a processor Core I5, 8 to 12 RAM and at least Windows 10).
  • USB noise cancelling headsets.
  • WebCam for daily meetings, for trainings and huddles.
  • Stable Internet speed must be at least 35Mbps Download and 15Mbps Upload.

MONTHLY PAYMENTS $1000 per month plus bonuses based on performance up to $300 per month once training is completed. - PAYMENTS ARE PROCESS ONCE PER MONTH AND DEPOSITED THE LAST BUSSINESS DAY OF EACH MONTH.

PAYMENTS ARE PROCESSED VIA DEEL (You can withdraw your payment via Wire Transfer, PayPal, Payoneer, Wise and Bitcoin)
