Welcome to the role of a Virtual Front Desk Receptionist! In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing patient appointments, explaining insurance benefits and collecting patient payments. You will need to be organized, detail-oriented, and have strong communication skills in order to successfully perform this role. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will be essential in creating a positive experience for our patients. · Greet patients and visitors in a welcoming and professional manner
• Schedule patient appointments
• Update and maintain patient information in our EMR system
• Collect copays and other payments
· Explaining insurance benefits
• Answer patient questions and provide guidance
• Process patient intake forms
• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
• Two or more years of experience working in customer service
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• English language proficiency
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Dress professionally
• A great eye for detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient records
