Full Job Description

We are a dynamic and growing land investment company seeking a motivated and results-oriented Land Acquisition Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be crucial to our company's growth by identifying, evaluating, and acquiring land parcels that align with our investment strategy. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with landowners, negotiating purchase agreements, and closing deals efficiently.


Job Responsibilities

Lead Generation:

  • Develop and execute strategies to generate warm and cold leads through various channels (online research, direct mail, networking, etc.)
  • Proactively reach out to potential sellers and build relationships
  • Qualify leads based on investment criteria

Property Evaluation:

  • Conduct thorough due diligence on potential land acquisitions, including property research, market analysis, and financial feasibility assessment
  • Determine property value and negotiate the purchase price

Contract Negotiation and Closing:

  • Prepare and present offers to landowners
  • Negotiate purchase agreements and terms favorable to the company
  • Manage the closing process, ensuring all legal and financial requirements are met

Relationship Management:

  • Maintain positive relationships with landowners, brokers, and other industry professionals
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication throughout the acquisition process


Job Requirements

Technical Requirements:

  • Reliable High-Speed Internet: A stable and fast internet connection is essential for seamless communication, research, and access to company systems.
  • Dedicated Workspace: A quiet and distraction-free home office environment conducive to focused work.
  • Computer and Software: A reliable computer with the necessary software, including Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and any other tools required for the position. Software provided if specialty to job.
  • Communication Tools: Proficiency in using video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meets) and instant messaging applications for effective communication with the team and clients.

Personal Attributes:

  • Self-Discipline and Time Management: The ability to work independently and manage time effectively without direct supervision.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are vital for building relationships and negotiating deals remotely.

  • Proactive and Resourceful: A self-starter who can take initiative and solve challenges without constant guidance.
