Leasing Assistant for Property Manager

Full Job Description

- Work Hours: 7:30am to 4:30pm on Monday to Friday  (Pacific Standard Time)

- Pay Rate: $10 per hour to start

Job: Leasing Assistant

Primary Role: Ensuring vacant rentals are leased and onboard new tenants through their first 30 days (then they are passed to the Assistant PM for months or years after that).

• Listing vacant rentals in various locations
• Overseeing reports and analytics on listing activity
• Responding to all rental lead inquiries
• Setting up or facilitating showings for rental leads
• Managing the Show Mojo system
• Running rental applications
• Calling for employment verification, rental verification and guiding applicants through the process to become renters
• Oversee and answer any questions through the first 30 days for new tenants

Job Requirements

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

- Great communication skills (verbal and written advanced English required)

- Present well and professionally

- Strong work ethic (proactive in training and ahead of me, not behind me)

- Some knowledge of real estate property management, leasing or real estate in general is helpful, but not required. 

-  Excellent English both by phone and written is required for the job.

- Ability to handle customer service calls, speak well and professionally

- Confident speaking on the phone

- High speed internet access

- Handle data entry, file organization, and creation of reports for our team, among other tasks, during their spare time.

- Must be on call and able to respond to any messages within 5 minutes during working hours except for lunch breaks. For this reason we prefer someone in a time zone where this would be a day job and they have access to a home office or other dedicated and quiet workspace.
