About

Three Rivers Collective is a United States based ecommerce holding company with brands in the sports and outdoors space. We have a small US based team with independent contractors across North America, South America, Middle East and Southeast Asia.

Note: Job is offered as an independent contractor position. All compensation is based on hours worked. The contractor is not considered an employee of the company, and as such is not entitled to any benefits, including pension, retirement, transportation, profit sharing, paid time off, or other benefits specific to company employees.

Overview

We are looking for a person who wants the challenge of handling and improving the accounting processes of a dynamic, fast growing ecommerce holding company.

You have a proven track record of accurately recording transactions, generating financial statements, reconciling complex multi-location inventory, cash flow analysis and improving accounting processes.

You pride yourself on acute attention to details, accurate financial statements, and strong organizational skills.

Job Responsibilities

Had you been with us last month, you would have done these types of tasks:

• Analyzed and clean the books for a recent acquisition
• Day-to-day bookkeeping and reconciliation for multiple ecommerce brands
• Approve timesheets and process payroll
• Scheduled the payments of invoice to our suppliers
• Resolved billing issues with suppliers
• Reconciled cost of goods sold with returned product
• Developed and prepared financial reports for leadership
• Reconciled complex inventory in multiple locations
• Review and adjust accounting entries from other team members
• Help develop and maintain budgets, financial forecasts
• 13-Week Cash Flow Analysis

The best candidate for this job will have:

• Familiarity with ecommerce operations
• Proficiency with QBO, Microsoft Excel
• Familiar with modern tech stacks and software
• Ability to distill complex financial situations and questions into simple and clear conclusions
• Fantastic analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively collaborate with and support cross-functional remote team members
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in financial statements (income statement, balance sheet & cash flow statement) modeling and analysis
• Experience in financial analysis for forecasting
• Strong written and verbal English
