Full Job Description

The Administrative Assistant will play a vital role in keeping our practice running smoothly. You’ll handle scheduling, data entry, and communication with insurance companies to support both clients and clinicians. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys making systems run efficiently and wants to support meaningful work in mental health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make and receive calls to/from insurance companies to verify benefits, resolve billing issues, and track claims
  • Manage appointment scheduling for new and existing clients
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry in our electronic systems
  • Communicate with clients regarding appointments, documentation, and insurance
  • Assist with general administrative tasks such as email correspondence, document management, and form preparation
  • Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot operational issues and improve processes

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a healthcare or insurance-related administrative role preferred
  • Excellent phone communication skills and professional demeanor
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Comfort with technology and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks at once
  • Compassionate and client-centered attitude

Work Hours & Compensation:
