🔍 About the Role

We’re looking for a sharp, detail-obsessed Bookkeeper / Accountant to take ownership of our books and accounts payable process. If you’re a QuickBooks Online ninja who knows how to keep the numbers tight, vendors paid,, keep reading.

🧾 Key Responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile QuickBooks Online accounts weekly
• Process accounts payable and ensure vendors are paid on time
• Match invoices to POs and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records for all financial transactions
• Help with monthly financial reporting and cash flow tracking
• Assist with year-end tax prep (no hand-holding from our CPA)
• Support process improvement and automation in financial ops

✅ Must-Haves

• 3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online
• Experience managing accounts payable at a growing company
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
• Excellent communication skills (email, phone, etc.)

💡 Bonus Points For

• Experience in home services, construction, or trades
• Familiarity with project-based accounting
• Proficiency with Salesforce, melio
