Fast paced property management company seeks detailed oriented Bookkeeper interested in a flexible work schedule. Part Time
Responsibilities Include:
Receipts Management (Enter/reapply/reverse/deposit receipts)
Payables Management (Enter/reverse/review/approve bills; enter/apply vendor credits; and enter work orders)
Payment Management (Process management, vendor, and owner pay run
Reporting (Review owner statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports; and send out owner packets
Clear up any financial diagnostic issues on a daily basis.
Maintain Quickbooks
Responsible for Internal Audit (3 way bank reconciliation, monthly trust reconciliation, and financial diagnostics)
Tenants/Homeowners Management (enter/edit/reverse tenant or homeowner charges and credits; and tenant move outs/changing homeowners)
Corporate Accounting (receivables/payables management; bank reconciliations; review of balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow; and forecasting using client-provided template and adjust where necessary)
Ensures accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing
Responsible for accurate year-end payroll close and processing of W2s and 1099s
Ability track and update list asset lists and other financial information
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Exceptional verbal and written communications skills and possesses the ability to work in a team environment
Familiar with generally accepted accounting principles and basic understanding of how to apply them
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications; strong understanding of Excel, Quickbooks and Appfolio experience preferred.
Excellent time management and organizational skills; capable of prioritizing tasks to complete within tight deadlines
Ability to assist with internal and external audits by retrieving and providing exact information
Comfortable with and embraces technology
