DESCRIPTION

This role is a long-term, work-from-home assignment with business performed principally in English, with additional call support in Spanish.

Opportunity for a bilingual (English and Spanish) candidate to provide contact/call center and business support related activities for multiple United States based telecommunications companies.

Activities will vary, as determined by client needs, but include, call servicing - both inbound and outbound for customer service and sales initiatives, quality control audits, and compliance-specific routines, including reporting and performance management. Additional duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE

Preferred:

  • Prior call center experience
  • Technical support experience
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting mobile devices, including tablets and cellphones
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Required:

  • MUST BE PROFICIENT IN ENGLISH (VERBAL AND WRITTEN)
  • English speaking voice must be clear for a United States based customer with a limited or neutral accent
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently with limited direction
  • Must be able to learn quickly and adapt effectively to any changes in assignments/work
  • Must be able to interact in a professional and friendly manner, listen effectively, and communicate across different audiences
  • The work environment must be free of distractions with minimal or no background noise

Hardware and Internet Requirements:

  • The contractor is responsible for providing their own compliant computer, and compatible headset/headphones.
  • Windows operating system (Windows 7 or higher)
  • Must have a minimum of 4GB of RAM
  • Minimum of 5GB of available hard drive space
  • Stable internet connection with a minimum download speed of 10 MBPS and upload speed of 2 MPBS (Verification required)

SCHEDULE

  • Hiring full-time positions only (40 hours).
  • The schedule is 5-day work week and includes weekend hours.
  • Business is open 7 days/week; 10:00 am - 9:00pm ET Eastern Time (ET).
  • Exact work schedule for each contractor will vary, and is determined based on call forecasts and client needs.
  • Overtime opportunities are available.

COMPENSATION

  • Pay rate is determined based on skill and experience. Minimum starts at $2.50 USD/hour.
  • Payments are made monthly via direct deposit to contractor's bank account. Alternate pay methods available.
  • Overtime pay is available.

EMPLOYMENT CONSIDERATION

Job is offered as an independent contractor position. All compensation is based on hours worked as agreed upon the employer and contractor. The contractor is not considered an employee of the company, and as such is not provided any benefits, including pension, retirement, social, transportation, profit sharing, paid time off, or other benefits specific to company employees.
