Full Job Description

Salary : $4,200 - $8,200 / Month

As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will play a critical role in protecting the organization’s digital assets through thorough security testing, vulnerability detection, and the implementation of best security practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate system weaknesses, ensuring that IT infrastructure remains resilient against evolving cyber threats.

Job Responsibilities

1. Perform security testing activities, including penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on web applications, network infrastructure, and cloud environments.
2. Design and maintain both automated and manual security testing strategies to ensure comprehensive coverage across critical systems, applications, and services.
3. Configure and manage security tools and environments, such as vulnerability scanners, SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other relevant monitoring technologies.
4. Create detailed technical reports and risk assessments, outlining identified vulnerabilities, potential impacts, and actionable remediation aligned with industry best practices.
5. Collaborate with DevOps, development, and infrastructure teams to integrate secure coding practices throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), in line with standards such as OWASP, ISO 27001, and NIST.
6. Continuously monitor for anomalies and conduct post-exploitation analysis to simulate real-world attack scenarios and evaluate the effectiveness of defensive mechanisms.
7. Stay current with emerging threats, tools, and techniques, and apply this knowledge to enhance internal testing methodologies and improve overall security posture.
