We are seeking a Director of Operations to join MSP Sales Partners, a fast-growing fractional coaching company serving Managed Service Providers. Currently generating $50K monthly revenue with plans to scale to $150K+ within 18 months, we need an experienced operations leader who can drive strategic initiatives and build scalable systems.

This is NOT an administrative role. We want someone who identifies problems before leadership sees them, proposes solutions independently, and leads operational transformations.

You'll work directly with the CEO and small core team (customer success manager, sales rep, part-time sales coach, various contractors) to optimize our sales processes, implement business systems, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks as we rapidly scale.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can operate at multiple levels - from hands-on CRM optimization to high-level process design.

You'll have significant autonomy to shape our operations and grow into a senior leadership position as the company scales.

This role requires Pacific Time availability (8 AM - 4 PM) and full-time dedication to building something significant with our growing team.


Job Responsibilities

Strategic Operations Leadership

  • Analyze and optimize sales conversion processes to increase revenue
  • Identify operational bottlenecks before they impact business growth
  • Lead implementation of business operating systems (EOS, Scaling Up, OKRs)
  • Design and implement SOPs that scale with 3x revenue growth
  • Create and maintain KPI dashboards for business metrics tracking

Sales & Customer Operations Management

  • Manage follow-up processes for 15+ monthly sales calls
  • Optimize client onboarding workflows to reduce time and increase satisfaction
  • Maintain and improve GoHighLevel CRM automations and pipelines
  • Handle contract processing, invoice management, and client communications
  • Ensure no prospects or customers fall through operational cracks

Team Coordination & Process Improvement

  • Lead weekly team meetings and quarterly planning sessions
  • Coordinate projects between CEO, sales coach, and technical contractor
  • Monitor team communication across Slack and project management tools
  • Build accountability systems and track team performance metrics
  • Document and standardize all business processes for consistency

Technology & Automation Leadership

  • Direct technical improvements with GoHighLevel and business automation tools
  • Work with technical contractor to implement workflow optimizations
  • Build custom dashboards and reporting systems for real-time insights
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools and systems for operational efficiency
  • Lead data management and CRM optimization initiatives


Job Requirements

Experience Requirements

  • 5+ years of operations experience at digital/service businesses
  • Experience in operations roles with process improvement and systems implementation
  • Track record of independently identifying and solving operational problems
  • Background at $1M-$10M companies, preferably in startup or growing environments
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional projects or small teams

Technical Skills

  • Advanced GoHighLevel experience (3+ years, complex automations required)
  • Expert-level proficiency with Asana project management platform
  • Advanced Google Workspace user (Sheets, Docs, Drive, Calendar)
  • Experience with business operating systems (EOS, Scaling Up, OKRs) or similar frameworks
  • CRM optimization and sales process design experience

Professional Requirements

  • Pacific Time availability 8 AM - 4 PM Monday-Friday (non-negotiable)
  • Full-time dedication - this must be your primary career focus
  • Occasional flexibility for evenings/weekends during critical business periods
  • Excellent written English communication skills for client and team coordination
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Active side businesses or consulting that conflicts with full-time dedication
  • Requires constant direction or prefers purely task-oriented work
  • Large corporation background only (100+ employees) without small business experience
