Junior Project Manager

Full Job Description

AAMP Agency is seeking a Junior Web Development Project Manager to oversee the development and implementation of websites for our clients in the tourism industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web development, digital marketing, and project management, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

Job Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

- Manage schedules and timelines for WordPress website builds.

- Break down projects into actionable tasks and prioritize them effectively.

- Collaborate with the Senior Project Manager, designers, developers, and content creators to ensure clear task assignments and on-time delivery throughout the project lifecycle.

- Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure projects meet design and functionality requirements before delivery.

- Coordinate with clients to gather requirements, ensure timely delivery of assets, and provide regular updates.

- Maintain organized project documentation.

- Respond to customer inquiries via email and other communication channels.

- Assist with customer support requests on an as needed basis.

Job Requirements

Your Experience & Skills:

Technical Expertise:

- Strong understanding of website development lifecycle and design principles.

- Knowledge of Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies.

- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Trello, Asana, JIRA).

- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

- Fundamental understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles.

Communication/Coordination Skills:

- Excellent written and verbal communication.

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

- Effective time management skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Additional Requirements:

- Must be able to work in the US Pacific Time Zone (7:30 AM PST to 5 PM PST)

- Must be highly fluent in English (Speaking, Reading, & Writing)

Nice to Have:

- Experience working with advertising & marketing agencies

- Experience working with travel and tourism operators
