Marketing Specialist: Copywriter and Social Media with fast growing vegan startup

Vegancuts is a thriving e-commerce subscription business that is known for amazing boxes coupled with genuine customer service, having won dozens of awards. Vegancuts is run by ex-Silicon Valley leaders intent on fostering a values-based company with a startup mindset, and creating an environment of support where individual growth is nurtured. 

We’re looking for a full-time long-term team member who is comfortable working CST hours. Along with an experienced-based competitive salary, there will be performance bonuses and an opportunity to grow quickly as the company grows.

This role will have a wide scope – all around various Marketing functions. Our dream candidate has significant experience with writing marketing emails in Klaviyo, growing Instagram, Youtube, and Tiktok channels, and has worked with securing influencer partnerships.

Ideal candidates have:

1. Native-level mastery of written English/grammar and a fast typing speed. Comfort writing short-form marketing-focused copy.

2. History with writing long-form blog articles.

3. Experience outreaching and negotiating with Tiktok, Instagram, and/or Youtube influencers as well as bloggers.

4. Experience creating social media content calendars, finding viral reposts, developing keyword-focused captions, and strategies to gain followers on Instagram and/or Tiktok.

5. Tendency to be in data – including understanding what is/isn’t working and iterating from that.

6. Strong comfort with self-learning new tools and techniques quickly. Being a startup company, this role will evolve and grow over time.

Bonus points if you have experience with:

- SEO tools such as ahrefs.

- CRM tools such as Pipedrive or Salesforce.

- Online collaboration tools like Google Drive/Sheets/Docs/Forms, etc.

- Loving animals enough not to eat them.
