Photo Editor (Lightroom & Photoshop) & Content Creator.

Full Job Description

Position Overview 

As a full-time portrait photographer, I am looking for a person to support my team primarily in the area of photo editing, and content creation for marketing purposes.

The person I am looking for needs to be an expert working with:

• Adobe Lightroom
• Adobe Photoshop

In the area of content creation, you would need to produce high-quality visually engaging content in the form of graphics (with photos and text), as well as short-video for my marketing efforts.

Knowledge of video editing is a plus:

• Adobe Premier or Final cut pro

My ideal Photo Editor is experienced and would be able to match my editing style and deliver high-quality, images consistently.  

You are well-organized, creative, cooperative, and with a keen eye for detail. You will need to meet delivery deadlines.

Work hours

Working hours are flexible, you can organize your own time schedule, as long as deadlines are met.

I am setting this job at 40 hours a month, I would like to hire someone permanently, on a part-time basis, with the potential to increase hours, depending on the performance.

Essential Responsibilities/Functions

• Sort and select the best photos from a photoshoot, as per the guidelines provided
• Prepare photos for client viewing - editing mostly in Lightroom
• Finalize editing of purchased photos, detailed in Photoshop as needed.
• Create and upload to client galleries.
• Content creation for social media (photo, graphic & short video)
• Maintain a short video gallery, with videos from our own business.
• Create short video format as needed for marketing purposes (horizontal or vertical video)
• Edit special customer projects.

Key Skills & Characteristics 

• Expert in Adobe Lightroom & Adobe Photoshop
• Ability to create Actions & use them
• Experience in Portrait editing
• Able to remove glass glare, fly hair, open or close eyes, remove or change backgrounds, open/close eyes, swap heads, and remove double chin. Subtle skin retouching.
• Content creation for Social
• Video editing, ability to edit and interview, and B-Roll into a cohesive short video.
• Ability to edit short vertical videos for Social media and to create short teasers for video ads, behind the scenes, etc…
• The main language of work is English.
• Working knowledge of German would be a strong plus.
