Whitestone is a Land Use Consulting and Pre Construction Management company in Los Angeles California. We are project managers who directly manage the approval process (permits / entitlements) for real estate development in Los Angeles. We work in commercial, multifamily, residential, public, historic, and food and beverage spaces.We are growing our Costa Rican team with a second full time hire and we're looking for a highly competent, driven, intelligent person to join our team. This is a position you can grow within the company. We hire long term and we are a growing company moving towards 10 employees. With progress we will increase your salary every quarter for the first year with annual raises thereafter. Exceptional talent gets compensated well. We offer bonuses and commissions regularly to employees.
Coordinate and track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines using project management software (e.g., Wrike)
Assist with filing applications, reviewing municipal codes, and compiling reports
Schedule and prepare for client meetings, team check-ins, and municipal hearings
Organize internal documents and maintain task management systems
Communicate with architects, engineers, city planners, and clients to keep projects moving
Support project managers in the operational development of our growing office
Anticipate project needs and flag delays or conflicts
Enter time daily to keep track of targets
Complete and assist with research projects related to diligence
Study Los Angeles municipal code, California state code, and become and expert in evolving discussions around real estate development.
University Degree in Architecture, City Planning, or Engineering
3+ years of experience in project coordination, real estate, urban planning, architecture, or a related field
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Clear and professional written and verbal communication
Technology proficiency and ownership of a cell phone / laptop / webcam
Familiarity with project management software (Wrike preferred but not required)
Self-starter with a team-first attitude
Willingness to be coached and to grow
Ability to work 8 hour shifts Monday to Friday
