Executive Assistant to Real Estate Agent

Location: Durango, CO (Hybrid or Remote Possible)

Part-Time or Full-Time (Based on Experience and Availability)

About the Role:

I’m a licensed real estate agent based in beautiful Durango, Colorado, seeking a proactive and highly organized Executive Assistant to streamline operations, manage communication, and support day-to-day business activities. This is a dynamic role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced real estate environment and can operate with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to emails and messages on my behalf
  • Manage and maintain calendar, appointments, showings, and deadlines
  • Understand and support real estate-specific tasks, including transaction timelines, contract processes, and MLS usage
  • Create, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for repeatable tasks
  • Track and organize documents and communication related to buyers, sellers, and listings
  • Coordinate with title companies, lenders, inspectors, and other transaction partners
  • Provide general administrative support and find opportunities to improve systems and workflows
  • Assist in client communication and follow-up
  • Optional (but valuable): basic video editing, social media content creation, and graphic design for marketing materials

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in real estate administration or assisting a licensed agent preferred
  • Strong knowledge of real estate processes and terminology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter who can prioritize tasks and solve problems independently
  • Tech-savvy; comfortable with Google Workspace, CRM tools, and project management software
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Creative skills in video editing and graphic design (preferred but not required)

Bonus Skills:

  • Familiarity with Colorado real estate contracts and disclosures
  • Experience with tools like Canva, Adobe Premiere, or Final Cut Pro
  • Background in marketing or social media management
