Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Legal Assistant to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of medical or legal procedures and possess strong communication skills in both English and Spanish. You will be responsible for handling various tasks related to personal injury cases, ensuring that client needs are met with efficiency and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
• Opening 1st and 3rd party insurance claims
• Opening health insurance claims
• Drafting and sending letters to clients, insurance companies, and medical providers
• Setting up client treatment plans with medical providers
• Requesting and following up on medical records and bills
• Requesting police reports or government evidence for cases
• Uploading and managing data in our CRM
• Contacting clients, adjusters, and medical facilities for case updates
• Handling intake calls and guiding clients through the intake process
• Conducting file reviews with the pre-litigation director
Skills & Qualifications:
• Medical or legal knowledge: Beginner level is acceptable, but familiarity with legal or healthcare terms will be beneficial.
• Advanced English: Strong reading and writing skills are required to communicate effectively with clients and legal team members.
• Spanish proficiency: Must have advanced verbal and written skills to assist Spanish-speaking clients.
• Strong organizational skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail: Ensure accuracy when handling sensitive client data, drafting documents, and following up on claims.
• Tech-savvy: Familiarity with CRMs, data entry, and case management systems is preferred.
