Web Developer and IT Support Needed for Digital Marketing Agency

Full Job Description

Just Digital is looking for a superstar web developer who wants to work in a fast-paced, creative environment. We are currently looking for an experienced full stack Web Developer. 

Position would be working in partnership with our web design team and digital marketing team to develop new websites from the ground up using Wordpress themes, and also make ongoing changes to existing client websites

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of PHP/ WordPress/ HTML
• Extensive knowledge of CSS
• Some Javascript knowledge
• Some MySQL knowledge
• QA/Testing on different browser/platforms
• Familiar with common UI/UX patterns and design software
• 2+ years experience working in a remote/ virtual job
• Solid, reliable internet connection and a good computer are a must.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage our support desk for client request: basic website changes, website maintenance, hosting/domain technical support.
• Develop WordPress websites from the ground using designs from our web design team. Converting the Figma Designs into Wordpress sites.
• Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required
• Develop, deploy, maintain and update websites in WordPress (with Existing Themes and Plugins)
• Perform website changes on existing sites, performance/speed optimizations, website backups etc
• Setup and manage DNS, hosting and other ancillary assets related to developing and deploying websites (Web Hosting, Cloudflare, etc)
• Assist our marketing team with building out landing pages, implementing conversion tracking (Facebook Pixel, Google Tag Manager/ Analytics/ Search Console)
• Assist in implementing various marketing tools/ changes (setting up popup forms, conversion optimization changes etc) guided by the Account Manager or Marketing Manager.
