Web Developer - Wordpress Proficient

Full Job Description

Our Web Developers are responsible for building customer websites according to established coding and production standards. We are looking for talented, energetic candidates with careful attention to detail and extensive experience translating designs into websites using HTML and CSS. The applicant needs to be proficient with WooCommerce and Wordpress platforms.

Skills and Requirements:

- Degree in Computer and Software related fields

- Specialized in Landing Page creation and CRO

- Specialized in Click Funnels

- Wordpress Proficient

- Use of Hubstaff as time tracker

- Available to work on US time zone (9AM - 6PM CST)

- Preferably with 2 years or more of front-end dev experience

- Good understanding of SEO principles

- WordPress

- WPBakery Page Builder

- CSS

- PHP knowledge

- JavaScript

- WooCommerce

- Gravity Forms and CF7

- Yoast SEO

- ManageWP

- All-in-One WP Migration

- DNS Management

- Server Management

- SMTP

- FTP

- Google Search Console

- Google reCAPTCHA v2 & v3

- Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects

- WebP and SVG

- Solid ability in both English written and verbal communication.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Designing, building, and managing the website, including:

1. Wireframing websites and designing site mappings to relay to clients

2. Formally documenting design choices in the web development process

3. Conducting performance tests and monitoring, troubleshooting content issues, and optimizing for speed and scalability

- Create long-form HTML pages

- Generating WordPress/WooCommerce themes and plugins

- Wireframing

- Applying responsive web design for all client websites (RWD is a frontend key-phrase)

- Building reusable code for future use

- Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages

- Maintaining brand consistency throughout the design
