Full Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Appeals Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for contacting insurance companies to advocate for the reprocessing and payment of claims.


Job Responsibilities

  • Contact insurance companies to discuss and appeal denied or underpaid claims.
  • Clearly articulate the reasons for claim reprocessing and payment based on insurance rules and regulations.
  • Maintain detailed records of all communications and follow-up actions with insurance companies.
  • Collaborate with the billing department to gather necessary documentation for appeals.
  • Stay updated on insurance policies, procedures, and regulatory changes.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to successfully appeal and resolve claims.


Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in medical billing or a similar role in the healthcare industry.
  • Basic understanding of insurance rules, regulations, and claim processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret insurance policies and guidelines.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • MUST SPEAK IN NATIVE ENGLISH
