The Intake Specialist manages the initial interaction between the Firm and potential new clients (PNCs). Their main duties include assessing and filtering leads based on legal requirements, scheduling and processing payments for initial consultations, and ensuring the smooth and continuous progression of leads through the intake process. They take charge of communication with new clients. They are tasked with evaluating new leads and arranging paid consultations as a step towards engagement with the firm. This role requires a strong sales acumen to effectively convert qualified leads into clients.
Reporting Relationship
The Intake Specialist primarily reports to the Lead Intake Specialist.
Responsibilities
Identify qualified leads by asking a series of questions designed to speak to the ideal A+ client, target the correct legal issues, gauge urgency/motivation.
Schedule qualified leads for initial consultations (sales calls).
Initiate the pre-engagement glidepath.
Prepare the Attorney with all the information needed for a successful conversation/consultation.
Follow up with potential new clients who did not schedule a consultation.
Make referrals to appropriate firms/other sources, share free resources, or provide other assistance (for leads who are not ideal or who do not schedule a consultation).
Follow up with leads who do not schedule consultations, who do not appear for their consultation, and do not sign up after their initial consultation to keep the door open for future contact.
Update the Firm’s databases to track incoming calls, leads qualified, referral sources, and other key metrics.
Follow up with all Social Media DMs.
Effectively engage with and convert the firm's qualified leads, contributing to the monthly target for client acquisition.
At least a High School Diploma.
Extensive sales experience is required. Law firm experience is a plus
Bilingual Spanish/English preferred but not required.
