We're a small US media studio hiring a part-time Social Media Manager to help run social content for our clients across multiple platforms (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Threads, YouTube, Bluesky, Substack).
You'll write posts in the client's voice (using AI tools to help), schedule them, and reply to comments to keep conversations going. We'll teach you our systems.
This is a long-term role. We start people part-time and grow them from there. Our current production hire started at 10 hours and is now at 30.
What we need:
- Excellent English writing (this will be tested)
- Comfortable using ChatGPT or Claude to draft and refine copy
- Reliable, organized, available to overlap with US time zones
- 2+ years of social media or content work
What we provide:

Pay: $6-15 USD/hour depending on experience, paid through Wise or PayPal. Rate review at 90 days.
- Write social posts in the client's voice using our prompts and AI tools
- Schedule posts across platforms (Buffer)
- Reply to comments in the first 60-90 minutes after posts go live
- Edit short vertical video clips with captions
- Make simple graphics in Canva
- Track which posts work and report back weekly
Required:
- Native or near-native English writing
- 2+ years social media or content experience
- Experience with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) for writing
- Buffer, Hootsuite, or similar scheduling tools
- Canva
- Reliable internet and quiet workspace
Nice to have:
- Video editing (CapCut, Descript)
- Interest in energy, policy, or B2B media
