Job Responsibilities
Contact insurance companies to discuss and appeal denied or underpaid claims.
Clearly articulate the reasons for claim reprocessing and payment based on insurance rules and regulations.
Maintain detailed records of all communications and follow-up actions with insurance companies.
Collaborate with the billing department to gather necessary documentation for appeals.
Stay updated on insurance policies, procedures, and regulatory changes.
Develop and implement effective strategies to successfully appeal and resolve claims.
Job Requirements
Proven experience in medical billing or a similar role in the healthcare industry.
Basic understanding of insurance rules, regulations, and claim processes.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to analyze and interpret insurance policies and guidelines.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
MUST SPEAK IN NATIVE ENGLISH
