Back-end Engineer

Full Job Description

JABA is looking for a Support Engineer to help maintain and support our growing platform. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and operations, ensuring our systems run reliably while assisting the team in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker or containerized environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with data pipelines or ETL systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and support backend services and APIs.
• Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues reported by internal teams or users.
• Assist with debugging application issues and identifying root causes.
• Support deployments and basic infrastructure operations.
• Work closely with engineers to document issues and implement fixes.
• Maintain logs, dashboards, and system health monitoring.

Job Requirements

• Basic experience with backend development (Go or similar language).
• Understanding of REST APIs and microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).
• Experience debugging logs and working with monitoring tools.
• Basic knowledge of databases (SQL or NoSQL).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
