Bilingual Operations Manager (Spanish/English) – Remote

Full Job Description

Houston-based intermodal chassis leasing company hiring a bilingual operations manager to run day-to-day operations.

We build and operate our own internal software system. You must be comfortable working inside custom tools and learning new systems quickly.

What You’ll Do

• Speak daily with carriers (phone & email)
• Coordinate repairs with our Spanish-speaking mechanic
• Approve and track maintenance
• Send invoices and manage collections
• Onboard new customers
• Keep equipment and customer records organized

Requirements

• Fluent English & Spanish
• Experience in freight, drayage, intermodal, or trucking
• Comfortable on the phone
• Experience with invoicing and collections
• Organized and self-directed

Job Responsibilities

Operations & Customer Account Management

• Communicate daily with carriers and dispatchers regarding rentals, availability, and service issues
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance with the mechanic and track status updates
• Approve repair work and ensure equipment returns to service quickly
• Generate invoices and follow up on past-due balances
• Onboard new customers and collect required documentation (insurance, MC, agreements)
• Maintain accurate records inside our internal system

• Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
• 2+ years experience in freight, drayage, intermodal, or trucking operations
• Experience with invoicing and collections
• Comfortable speaking on the phone daily with customers
• Strong organization and follow-up skills
• Able to manage multiple issues at once
• Comfortable learning and operating internal software systems
• Self-directed and accountable
