Billing and Collections Specialist

We're a growing US criminal law firm looking for a a billing and collections representative to manage our accounts receivable and follow-up with clients for payment. It’s important you have sales experience, we can train the rest. The successful applicant will enjoy a high-energy work environment, appreciate collaborating with colleagues, and continually finding ways to improve their skills. Our firm is continually growing, intensely demanding with never a dull moment, and staffed by the finest people in the business.

Sales Representative for New Leads

• Working hours: Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm Central Time (40 hours/ week) 
• This is a work from home position.
• Salary range is $8 to $12 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Pay is hourly full-time position.
• You will need to manage our “books” in making sure that clients pay on time.
• Run reports as needed to determine past due clients.
• Constant outbound communication with clients so they stay on their payment plan and pay when past due.
• Work closely with other employees to achiever firm goals and handle other tasks as needed by supervisors.
• This is a remote position so you will need a strong internet connection as well as a dependable computer.

Job Requirements

• 2+ years in similar billing or administrative role.
• Excellent conversational skills in English and Spanish.
• Very comfortable and knowledgeable with math and numbers.
• Must be confident and able to speak with clients confidently since you will be working directly with them to pay the firm as agreed.
• Coachable and take feedback well.
• Warm and engaging personality.
• Reliable and pro-active.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Positive winning mindset. 
• Independent "go-getter" attitude that can work well unsupervised, in addition to being a team-player.
• Have other core values of firm: integrity, energetic, great work ethic, able to get results, and positive attitude.
• You do not need any previous experience in the legal field. We will teach you what you need to know in this regard.
