Full Job Description

The Business Development Specialist will drive Ecoverde Cleaning's growth by effectively managing the proposal and RFP process, identifying new opportunities, and enhancing our relationships with strategic partners. Leveraging platforms like Bidnet and Salesforce, you'll coordinate proposal development, streamline processes, and deliver compelling, winning proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Proposal Creation & Coordination

  • Develop comprehensive proposals, coordinating all content, supporting documentation, and visuals.
  • Write, revise, and edit proposal drafts, including executive summaries, conclusions, and company credentials.

2. Opportunity Analysis & Proposal Planning

  • Review and analyze incoming RFPs and business opportunities, clearly identifying client needs and proposal requirements.
  • Organize and facilitate internal meetings to strategize proposal responses and identify priorities.

3. Proposal Project Management

  • Set proposal timelines and manage deadlines, coordinating content collection, review cycles, and final approvals.
  • Monitor proposal progress, provide regular status updates, and ensure timely submission.

4. Knowledge & Resource Management

  • Maintain and update the internal RFP answer library and associated documentation.
  • Manage and continually improve BD tools alongside marketing team.

6. Administrative & Sales Support

  • Provide administrative support to the BD team, coordinating meetings, documentation, and logistics.
  • Support marketing initiatives, event planning, research, campaigns, and general business development activities.

7. Lead Generation & Email Marketing

  • Utilize Apollo.io and similar tools to identify and generate qualified leads.
  • Build and maintain targeted email marketing lists to support outreach and lead nurturing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop effective email marketing strategies and campaigns.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in proposal writing, editing, and project management.
  • Familiarity with Apollo.io, Active Campaign and otherlead generation app
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders.

Preferred Experience:

  • Background in facilities management, janitorial, or similar service industries.
  • Experience in responding to governmental RFPs and private-sector proposals.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in proposal writing, editing, and project management, with strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in tools like Apollo.io, ActiveCampaign, and other lead generation platforms is required, along with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. A background in facilities management, janitorial services, or similar industries, as well as experience responding to government RFPs and private sector proposals, is preferred.
