Full Job Description

WebtrixPro is a custom software and AI development agency based in Miami, Florida. We build software, web applications, websites, and digital platforms that help small and mid-sized businesses save 10 to 20 plus hours per week. Our stack: React, Node.js, Next.js, Angular, Vue, Python, MySQL, NoSQL, with automation through N8N and GHL and AI through the Anthropic Claude API.We are hiring a hands-on Chief Technology Officer to own our technology function end to end. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CTO leads technical strategy, manages our engineering and design team, and ensures every product we ship is high-quality, secure, scalable, and delivered on time. Within 90 days, the CTO will fully own architecture, delivery, and technical client communication.Fluent or near-native English is required. The CTO communicates frequently with clients, partners, vendors, stakeholders, and international teams, and must lead meetings, write clearly, and represent WebtrixPro with confidence in English.

Job Responsibilities

• Help define the company's overall technology strategy and long-term roadmap.
• Oversee development of software products, websites, web applications, and digital platforms from concept to delivery.
• Manage, mentor, and grow a cross-functional team of developers, UX/UI designers, QA specialists, and technical project managers.
• Make architecture, framework, tooling, and methodology decisions that balance speed, quality, and cost.
• Ensure the quality, security, scalability, and performance of all technology products.
• Communicate directly in English with clients, stakeholders, vendors, and international teams.
• Translate business needs and client goals into clear technical solutions and project plans.
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies, automation, AI, and digital tools that improve delivery and outcomes.
• Manage technology budgets, delivery timelines, and the technology roadmap.
• Establish engineering standards, review processes, and best practices across the team.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.8 plus years of software development experience, with 3 plus years in a senior technical leadership role (CTO, VP of Engineering, Engineering Director, or similar).Proven track record building and shipping software, web applications, and digital platforms.Demonstrated experience leading and scaling technical teams.Strong command of software architecture, system design, and the full development lifecycle.Deep knowledge of modern front-end and back-end stacks (React, Node.js, Next.js, Angular, Vue, Python).Strong grasp of databases (MySQL, NoSQL, Postgres), APIs, and system integrations.Experience with cloud infrastructure, deployment, and DevOps practices.Solid understanding of security best practices, performance optimization, and scalability.Familiarity with automation platforms (N8N, GHL) and AI tooling such as the Anthropic Claude API.Fluent or near-native English, spoken and written.Preferred: agency or client-services experience, work with small and mid-sized business clients, and hands-on AI or automation implementation.
