Full Job Description

BRCK Criminal Defense works with people going through one of the most stressful moments of their lives. You are their steady point of contact — the person who makes sure every client feels heard, informed, and never left wondering what's happening with their case. Our #1 value is simple: client experience is king, and we over-communicate everything.

What you'll do:

  • Be the voice of the firm on the phone — answer inbound calls, return calls the same day, and make proactive update calls so clients never have to chase us.
  • Keep clients informed — send monthly case-update texts, day-of-court reminders, and after-court check-in calls.
  • Welcome new clients — send the welcome email, complete onboarding, and make sure Spanish-speaking clients are fully supported in their own language.
  • Monitor communication channels — the shared inbox, text line, and call queue; respond within 24 hours and flag anything urgent to the Client Experience Lead.
  • Help with court logistics — confirm court dates, request excused absences, and notify the court when a client is running late.
  • Document everything — log every client and case interaction in our case system so nothing falls through the cracks.

What we're looking for:

  • Fully fluent in Spanish and English, written and spoken.
  • Warm, patient, and genuinely caring on the phone — you can calm a worried client and make them feel taken care of.
  • Organized and reliable; you follow through and write things down as you go.
  • Comfortable juggling calls, texts, and email throughout the day.
  • A quiet remote workspace, reliable internet, and a headset.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in a law firm, call center, or client-facing / customer-success role.
  • Familiarity with MyCase, Hiver, or similar tools (we'll train you).

How we measure success:

  • You're winning when clients feel over-communicated with: fast callbacks, every milestone update sent, and high satisfaction shown through 5-star reviews and referrals. 
  • We measure responsiveness and communication quality — not how fast cases close.
