As we grow, we’re looking for a Contract Accounting Specialist with advanced accounting skills to join us on a project/contract basis. This role is critical in supporting our financial operations, especially during month-end close and financial reporting.

What You’ll Do

As a Contract Accounting Specialist, you will play a key role in overseeing and executing essential finance tasks, with a strong focus on month-end accuracy and financial visibility for the leadership team.


Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timeliness and accuracy

  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts in QuickBooks, and ensure balance sheet and profit and loss statement integrity

  • Track budgets and perform variance analysis across projects and departments

  • Prepare concise financial reports and performance dashboards for leadership

  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and assist with special projects as needed

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or related field

  • 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally in an agency or client-service environment

  • Expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, and transactional accounting

  • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online

  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines independently

  • Clear and timely communication, with a collaborative and proactive mindset

  • Availability to work within U.S. business hours and meet critical month-end timelines
