Match Freight Lines is a fast-growing logistics company specializing in LTL and Truckload. We are looking for a Controller to manage our financial operations, including B2B collections, bookkeeping, accounts receivable (AR), and accounts payable (AP). If you have a strong background in accounting, excellent communication skills, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Compensation & Benefits:

💲 $5.50 USD per hour, 40 Hours per week

📅 Full-time position, Monday – Friday

🌍 Remote work

🛑 1 week paid vacation after the probation period

Job Responsibilities

• B2B Collections: Proactively follow up on outstanding invoices, negotiate payment terms, and reduce overdue accounts.
• Accounts Receivable (AR): Track incoming payments, reconcile customer accounts, and manage billing processes.
• Accounts Payable (AP): Process invoices, schedule vendor payments, and ensure timely disbursements.
• Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records, reconcile bank statements, and manage general ledger entries.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements, cash flow reports, and other key financial documents.
• Process Improvement: Optimize financial workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Compliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies.

Job Requirements

✔ Experience: 3+ years in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial management (transportation/logistics experience a plus).

✔ Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks (or similar accounting software), Excel, and financial reporting.

✔ Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

✔ Collections Expertise: Experience with B2B collections and resolving outstanding invoices.

✔ Communication: Advanced English (C1+) – strong written and verbal communication skills for customer and vendor interactions.

✔ Work Ethic: Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
