CPA/ Accountant

Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CPA or Senior Accountant based in Latin America to support U.S.-based businesses with accounting, tax preparation, and financial reporting. This is a remote, long-term role with consistent work and the opportunity to grow into a senior advisory position.You will work closely with ownership and leadership to ensure accurate financials, clean books, tax compliance, and strong internal controls across multiple business entities.Key Responsibilities

Monthly and quarterly bookkeeping and reconciliations

Preparation and review of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)

Oversight of accounts payable / receivable

Payroll coordination and payroll journal entries

Sales tax and state tax filings (as applicable)

Support U.S. tax preparation (individual, partnership, S-Corp, or C-Corp)

Assist with year-end close and coordination with U.S. tax advisors

Maintain accurate chart of accounts and accounting policies

Identify discrepancies, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities

Respond to accounting and tax questions from management

Job Responsibilities

creating invoices according to company standards, receiving revenue to meet KPIs, creating budgets, weekly dashboards

Job Requirements

5 years of professional experience in relevant field using previous mentioned responsibilities and skills.
