Customer Service Call Center Representative

Full time (40 hours/week Monday-Friday)

Starting at $5.00 per hour

Job Description

You will be the first point of contact for patients via phones. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing patient appointments, doing patient intakes, and explaining insurance benefits. You will need to be organized, detail-oriented, and have strong communication skills in order to successfully perform this role. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will be essential in creating a positive experience for our patients. Job responsibilities will include:

• Providing the highest level of customer service
• Taking inbound calls and providing accurate, satisfactory answers to their inquiries and concerns
• Scheduling patients and responding to patients via email
• Completing intakes for new patients and collecting all insurance information
• Reviewing patient accounts, providing updates and information
• Handling various other administrative tasks
• Effectively communicating with Physical Therapists, patients, and other team members

We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and hard-working individual with experience in customer service and administrative responsibilities. The candidate must enjoy helping others, as this is the main focus of our business. Candidate must also possess:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to multitask and work well with others on the team
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments
• Phone skills, including familiarity with complex or multi-line phone systems
• Minimal background noise as this is a call center type of role
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel
• A patient and empathetic attitude

Contractor Computer Spec Requirements:

·       Windows 10/11 or newer

·       Processor - Intel (Core i5 8th Gen, Year 2017)/AMD (Ryzen, Year 2017)/M1 or newer

·       RAM – 8GB or more

·       Hard Drive - SSD

·       Network connection - Ethernet connection to network (wired). Fiber internet provider recommended.

·       Webcam, USB headset
