We specialize in Military Household Goods (HHG) relocation with professionalism, precision, and care. As we grow, we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team and play a critical role in our day-to-day logistics operations.
Position Overview:
The Dispatcher will be responsible for organizing and coordinating daily trips for 5–10 straight trucks, primarily for military HHG shipments. This position involves managing tonnage lists, collaborating with other dispatchers and partner companies, and ensuring trips are well planned and completed efficiently. You will be a key player in maximizing daily loads while maintaining a high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and dispatch 5–10 straight trucks daily for military HHG moves.
Pull and assign jobs from the tonnage list, ensuring schedule accuracy and driver availability.
Collaborate with internal dispatchers and external companies to acquire additional loads.
Maintain timely and accurate records in our CRM system and load board portals (e.g., DPS, SmartWay, etc.).
Monitor trips in real-time, addressing any logistical or scheduling issues quickly.
Communicate clearly with drivers, customers, and military personnel.
Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and military HHG move standards.
Verify completed jobs for billing and documentation purposes.
Work in a team-oriented environment, sharing information and contributing to dispatch strategy.
Requirements:
Prior experience in HHG, military moving, or dispatching is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with military move processes and tonnage list navigation is a plus.
Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written.
Spanish language skills preferred (majority of drivers are Spanish-speaking).
Proficiency in CRM tools, load board portals, and basic computer applications.
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.
Able to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation:
Base Salary: $800/month
Commissions & Bonuses: Paid based on well-planned and completed trips.
Earning Potential: $2,000 – $5,000+ per month, depending on performance and seasonal workload.
Compensation is seasonal, with peak season from May through September, when higher trip volume and earnings are expected.
