E-Commerce Web Developer (Kickflip, WooCommerce & Shopify)

Full Job Description

We are a growing direct-to-consumer e-commerce brand looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Web Developer to join our team part-time. You will work alongside our technical lead to help build and maintain our online stores across WooCommerce and Shopify.Your immediate focus will be building out our interactive, visual custom products using the Kickflip product customizer tool (setting up components, conditional logic, multi-view previews, and dynamic pricing). As you settle in, you will assist with general front-end and back-end tasks, store improvements, product catalog setups, and supporting our planned expansion to Shopify. If you love e-commerce, have hands-on experience setting up complex product variants, and know your way around WordPress and Shopify, we’d love to speak with you!

Job Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and test visual product configurators using Kickflip (setting up colors, embroidery/text fields, layers, conditional rules, and dynamic pricing).
• Collaborate with our lead developer on daily store updates, UI enhancements, and theme tweaks across WooCommerce and Shopify.
• Help upload, organize, and maintain product catalog data, custom options, and variation assets.
• Assist in testing store checkouts, forms, and product pages to ensure seamless customer ordering.
• Support backend website maintenance, troubleshooting plugin/app conflicts, and general technical problem-solving as needed.

Job Requirements

• 2–3+ years of experience working with WooCommerce (WordPress) and/or Shopify stores.
• Hands-on experience configuring product customizers or advanced product option apps (Kickflip experience is a huge plus, but experience with similar apps like Zakeke, Zepto, or custom product add-ons is great).
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, and basic JavaScript.
• Strong attention to detail when building product rules and pricing logic.
• Reliable, proactive communicator with advanced English skills with daily availability during US Central business hours.
