Opportunity for a bilingual (English and Spanish) candidate to provide contact/call center and support related activities for United States based companies.
Principle work is call support, both inbound and outbound for internal or external customers. Additional activities can vary, as determined by client, but can include retention and sales initiatives, account reviews, troubleshooting mobile devices, and other support functions as needed. Additional duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• One-year prior contact center customer service experience
• Technical support experience; familiarity with troubleshooting mobile devices, including tablets and cellphones
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proficient in English (verbal and written)
• English speaking voice must be clear for a United States based customer with a neutral/limited accent
• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently with limited direction
• Must be able to learn quickly and adapt effectively to any changes in assignments/work
• Able to interact in a professional and friendly manner, listen effectively, and communicate across different audiences
• Work environment must be free of distractions with minimal or no background noise
HARDWARE AND INTERNET REQUIREMENTS:
• Windows operating system (Windows 7 or higher)
• Must have a minimum of 8GB of RAM
• Minimum of 5GB of available hard drive space
• Must have a sustainable internet connection, and be able to remain connected during business hours. Connection must be a minimum of 20 MBPS download and 10 MBPS upload speed.
• Contractor is responsible for providing their own compliant computer and compatible headset to take calls.
Current Business Hours: Monday-Sunday, 9:00am-9:00pm Eastern Time (US & Canada)
• Full-time role (40 hours/week)
• 5-day work week with at least one weekend day
• Schedules will vary, but fall within current business hours
• Overtime opportunities available, based on business need
• Starting pay is $3.00 USD/hour. Experience, skill, and background will determine the offered rate.
• Pay is provided monthly, based on hours worked, with payments made via direct bank deposit.
Job is offered as an independent contractor position. All compensation is based on hours worked. The contractor is not considered an employee of the company, and as such is not entitled to any benefits, including pension, retirement, transportation, profit sharing, paid time off, or other benefits specific to company employees.
