Harbor is a Miami-based marine crew marketplace connecting yacht crew with boat owners across the United States. The marine hiring industry is outdated, fragmented, and stuck in Facebook groups and word-of-mouth referrals. We are changing that with a modern, vetted platform built specifically for the marine industry.
We are scaling our content, social, and video presence, and we are looking for a Graphic Designer / Video Editor who wants to own execution, move fast, and grow with us. You will play a key role in shaping how Harbor shows up across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and email. This is a part-time role to start with real room to expand as we scale.
Compensation: $4 to $6 USD per hour depending on experience. Approximately 10 hours per week to start, with room to expand as we grow.
Schedule and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook on a consistent posting cadence.
Design clean, modern graphics in Canva using provided templates, evolving and improving them over time.
Create and edit short-form vertical videos (Reels and TikToks) using CapCut or a similar editing tool.
Support email marketing campaigns with visuals, layout, and design assets.
Collaborate with the Harbor team to shape and execute the monthly content calendar.
Stay current on social media trends, sounds, and formats relevant to the marine and lifestyle space.
Maintain visual consistency and brand alignment across all platforms.
Repurpose existing content (long-form, photos, podcasts) into bite-sized social assets.
Track basic content performance and bring ideas for what to double down on.
Communicate proactively about timelines, ideas, and creative direction.
Comfortable and proficient with Canva for graphic design.
Experience with a video editing tool (CapCut, CapCut Pro, Adobe Premiere, or similar).
Strong eye for clean, modern, uncluttered design.
Portfolio or examples of short-form vertical video editing.
Portfolio or examples of social media graphics (real work preferred).
Organized and self-managing, able to deliver consistently without micromanagement.
Communicates clearly and professionally in English (written).
Reliable internet connection and personal computer with the necessary editing software.
Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook publishing tools and best practices.
Understanding of vertical video formats, hooks, and pacing for short-form content.
Genuine interest in growing with an early-stage startup, not just completing tasks.
Bonus: experience in marine, yachting, lifestyle, hospitality, or marketplace brands.
Bonus: basic email marketing platform experience (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, GoHighLevel, etc.).
