The Intake Specialist is the first point of contact for prospective clients, transforming initial inquiries into meaningful, paid attorney consultations that build trust from the start.

The Intake Specialist manages the initial interaction between Odunlami Law Firm and potential new clients (PNCs). Their main duties include assessing and filtering leads based on legal requirements, scheduling and processing payments for initial consultations, and ensuring the smooth and continuous progression of leads through the intake process. They take charge of communication with new clients and are tasked with evaluating new leads and arranging paid consultations as a step toward engagement with the firm. This role requires strong sales acumen to effectively convert qualified leads into clients.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Identify qualified leads by asking a series of questions designed to speak to the ideal client profile, target the correct legal issues, and gauge urgency/motivation.
• Schedule qualified leads for initial consultations (sales calls).
• Initiate the pre-engagement glidepath.
• Prepare the attorney with all the information needed for a successful consultation.
• Follow up with potential new clients who did not schedule a consultation.
• Make referrals to appropriate firms or other sources, share free resources, or provide other assistance for leads who are not an ideal fit or who do not schedule a consultation.
• Follow up with leads who do not schedule consultations, who do not appear for their consultation, or do not sign up after their initial consultation, to keep the door open for future contact.
• Update the firm's databases to track incoming calls, qualified leads, referral sources, and other key metrics.
• Effectively engage with and convert the firm's qualified leads, contributing to the monthly target for client acquisition.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience

• At least a High School Diploma.
• Extensive sales experience required; law firm or immigration experience a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred but not required.
• A natural relationship builder who can confidently convert inquiries into scheduled consultations, and a self-starter who follows through consistently and handles sensitive client interactions with professionalism and empathy.
• Comfortable using Lawmatics or similar practice management software to maintain accurate records and keep the intake process organized.
