We are looking for an analyst with strong knowledge of Venezuela’s business environment. You will track policy changes in foreign exchange, trade regulations, and market access, providing objective commercial intelligence and operational risk assessments for cross‑border clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor FX availability, import licensing, and localization rules in Venezuela
- Analyze capacity, pricing, and foreign participation models in key sectors (energy, mining, agriculture)
- Assess receivables recovery cycles and supply chain performance risks
- Produce a FocusEconomics and rapid policy briefs
Fluent in Spanish (able to read official gazettes and local business media)
Master’s degree in Economics, International Trade, Latin American Studies, or related field
Familiar with cross‑border payment structures, inflation clauses, or emerging market risk analysis .
Previous experience in a consulting firm, commodity trading house, or multinational research role preferred
Nice to Have
Existing knowledge of logistics nodes or corporate credit conditions in Venezuela
