Our Learning & Development (L&D) function supports leaders across multiple hotel properties by improving onboarding execution, reinforcing key operating principles, and building scalable tools that make it easier for managers to coach and train effectively.

Role Summary

This role is designed to complement an on-staff L&D facilitator/coach by owning the behind-the-scenes systems work—especially SOP execution, AI-enabled coaching workflows, automation, and learning operations—so our leaders can spend more time coaching with the right tools and systems.

This is a builder role. You will design, improve, and run the systems that enable learning to happen consistently at the property level. You do not need prior L&D titles to succeed here—if you’re strong at systems design, automation, AI tools, and operational follow-through, we can teach you the L&D context.


Job Responsibilities

Systems & AI (Primary)

  • Own and improve the AI Coaching system: define the workflow, standardize prompts/templates, maintain the knowledge base, and ensure content stays current.
  • Build lightweight automations that reduce manual work for L&D and operations (tracking, reminders, follow-ups, reporting).
  • Mass-ingest leadership 1:1 recordings and other meeting recordings into the AI Coaching environment; generate searchable chat threads and summaries to surface coaching themes and gaps.
  • Create a repeatable process to translate leadership conversations into action items, follow-up trackers, and accountability checklists (so work doesn’t fall through cracks).

SOP execution & knowledge reinforcement:

  • Maintain and improve the SOP program by organizing and publishing SOPs, working with L&D and Ops to prioritize what matters most, and creating simple knowledge checks to track completion and reinforce learning.

Onboarding Execution 

  • Help leadership diagnose onboarding breakdowns by combining survey data, KPI performance signals, and insights from recorded 1:1s.
  • Work with property leaders to understand what’s currently being taught for key roles, use AI to identify gaps and create clear onboarding outlines, and turn recommendations into simple, easy-to-follow guides managers can use during daily operations.


Job Requirements

Hard skills 

  • Systems thinker with strong process design skills (can take a vision/problem and turn it into a clean workflow).
  • High AI tool fluency (prompting, knowledge bases, content structuring, summarization workflows; comfortable experimenting and iterating).
  • Automation mindset (can connect tools, build repeatable trackers, reduce manual steps; basic scripting/coding is a strong plus).
  • Strong operational execution: trackers, follow-ups, documentation, and keeping projects moving.

Soft skills (screenable, still important)

  • Strong ownership and follow-through.
  • Structured communicator (turns conversations into clear next steps).
  • Proactive problem solver; comfortable diagnosing ambiguity.
  • Highly organized and detail-focused.
  • Collaborative partner who works well with leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptable and resourceful in a fast-moving environment.
