Pricing Support Specialist

Full Job Description

We’re looking for a detail driven, analytical thinker to join our team as a Pricing Support Specialist. This role sits at the intersection of data, operations, and eCommerce supporting how pricing flows from vendors into our systems and ultimately onto our storefronts. 

If you enjoy working with data, solving discrepancies, and making sure systems run clean and accurately, this role offers a strong foundation with room to grow into deeper ownership of pricing strategy and platform operations.

Job Responsibilities

Pricing & Vendor Data Management

• Track and maintain vendor pricing lists to ensure our systems stay up to date
• Clean, format, and organize large datasets for system compatibility
• Execute pricing updates based on internal rules and margin guidelines
• Communicate with vendors to resolve missing or inconsistent pricing data

Invoice & Pricing Discrepancies

• Investigate invoice issues and pricing mismatches
• Work directly with vendors to resolve discrepancies and secure credits when needed
• Build a clear baseline of information to support resolution

Discounts & Margin Support

• Create and manage custom pricing discounts within internal systems
• Analyze margin data and support recommendations for pricing strategies

Freight & Shipping Analysis

• Maintain dashboards for shipping and freight data
• Analyze shipping costs and support improvements to pricing accuracy

eCommerce Platform Support (Amazon, Shopify)

• Prepare and upload product and pricing data to platforms like Amazon and Shopify
• Maintain storefront accuracy, including product details, images, and specifications
• Support backend settings such as shipping profiles and product metadata
• Assist with light copyediting and product page improvements

GSA Platform Support

• Format and upload pricing and product data to GSA systems (SIP/FSS)
• Ensure compliance with platform requirements

Job Requirements

• Excel Proficiency: Ability to format, clean, and organize large datasets. Must be comfortable using functions like VLOOKUP to merge and compare data from different sources.
• Data Accuracy: Strong attention to detail to ensure pricing and product specifications are correct before uploading to live platforms.
• Ecommerce Platform Experience: Previous experience working with CMS or on Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, or GSA Advantage (SIP/FSS) is preferred.
• Professional Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and persistently with vendors and internal stakeholders to obtain pricing details or resolve invoice issues.
